Our Partners

Everyday, Crisis & Counseling staff work with other community agencies, schools, law enforcement and others, to provide care for mutual clients and services to the community. Below are some of those we work with on both an informal and formal contract basis. (This is not meant to be a comprehensive list.)

Crisis Response Program Partners

C&C's Crisis program provides support to other behavioral healthcare agencies in the area and to other agencies providing in-home supports.

By contract, staff provide evaluations and referral for any and all individuals in crisis in the Emergency Rooms and inpatient medical units of:

  • Maine General Hospitals
  • Sebasticook Valley Hospital
  • Redington-Fairview General Hospital
  • Inland Hospital

Crisis staff also coordinate patient care with Riverview Psychiatric Center for crisis clients who are admitted there.

Crisis staff provide emergency assessments and referral for:

  • All Kennebec and Somerset schools, calling on behalf of a student or family
  • Kennebec and Somerset county jails, calling on behalf of an inmate

The Crisis department has strong relationships with the local law enforcement throughout the two-county area and often work side by side with officers in crisis situations.

In Waterville, Crisis & Counseling Centers has had a unique partnership with the Waterville Police Department through the Ride Along Program, which pairs a Crisis & Counseling staff person with a patrolling police officer during evening hours.

Our Outpatient service partners include:

  • The Co-Occurring Disorders Courts of Kennebec and Somerset Counties
