Crisis & Counseling Centers is dedicated to providing the best quality services to clients. We believe a large part of that effort is effectively collaborating with other individual providers and community agencies.
We invite community providers to communicate and collaborate with us to meet the behavioral health care needs of the people of Kennebec and Somerset counties in Maine and of parents and families throughout the state.
How Can Our Services Support What You Do?
We would like to highlight some of the ways that we can support your work with individuals in the community, at school, in the workplace or in your practice:
Crisis Response Service:
Crisis & Counseling Centers is the sole provider of 24 Crisis Response service in Kennebec and Somerset counties in Maine. Trained professionals are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year through the statewide toll-free crisis number, 1-888-568-1112, and through our 24-hour walk-in service in Augusta and Skowhegan.
Within hours of making a call a crisis worker can be meeting face-to-face with an individual to conduct a mental health assessment and make referrals.
In addition to mobile crisis response, we offer Crisis Stabilization Services and Crisis OutReach prevention and aftercare services.
Outpatient and IOP:
Whether someone is dealing with a low level of depression brought about by recent events, or has chronic, difficult to address, Co-occurring Disorders psychiatric and substance abuse disorders, our Outpatient/Intensive Outpatient Program are a valuable resources. C&C's clinicians are also interested in partnering with PCPs to provide treatment to patients taking Soboxone.

Psychiatric Consultation:
If you are a medical provider caring for a patient with significant mental health issues, you may appreciate having our psychiatrist, Dr. Benjamin Crocker, evaluate your patient and make treatment and prescription recommendations.

GEAR Statewide Parent Support Network (no cost to client):
•Do you work with parents whose child has been recently diagnosed with a developmental disability?
•Do you serve parents who are raising a child with behavior health needs who could benefit from emotional support from other parents?
•Do you serve parents who are not aware of how the legal system supports their child’s needs or who are overwhelmed trying to get all the health care services they need?
G.E.A.R. Parent Network has Regional Parent Support Coordinators available by phone and offers 20 monthly support groups and regular workshops throughout the state.
